Selling Your Accounts on CMAX NDSE
The process of selling accounts through CMAX NDSE is easy. Simply contact our Business Development Representatives to get started. Our Representatives will assist you with submitting your initial documents and preparing your portfolio for review. The documentation process at CMAX is designed to be simple and straightforward to speed execution.
Documentation Process
The documentation for selling accounts on the CMAX NDSE is easy. You can request documents from your Business Development Representative or download them yourself on our Documents Download Page. Only the Confidentiality Agreement, Seller Survey and your Data File are necessary for us to complete an evaluation of your portfolio.
All portfolios submitted for review by CMAX must be submitted via secure FTP transfer. CMAX works hard to maintain a secure environment for the transmission and receipt of unmasked data. When you are ready to submit your portfolio, our I.T. Department will contact you with specific instructions for our FTP server.

Portfolio Evaluation
After a portfolio has been submitted, it is stratified by our Analytics Department for evaluation. In our evaluation, our analytic and executive team will recommend a re-sale strategy for maximizing value. When the best strategy has been determined, the seller is contacted by another member of our Business Development Team and a deal strategy discussed. Once a strategy has been agreed upon, the Business Development Team will work with you to get the remaining documents completed and bring the portfolio to market.
Bringing Debt Portfolios to Market
When a portfolio is brought to market, the CMAX Sales Team is able to present your portfolio to over 3,500 registered NDSE debt buyers or focus on a group of potential buyers that you select. Due diligence will be performed by our buyers and bidding or individual account purchases will begin.
Trade Execution
Since all documentation is done prior to the listing of your portfolio, there is no additional paperwork to complete at the time of sale. Debt buyers can transact 24 hours a day, 7 days per week without any necessary interaction on your part. A copy of all Purchase & Sale Agreements and buyer information is available to be downloaded at your leisure.
Post-Sale Support
If you elected for Post-Sale Servicing on your portfolios, CMAX NDSE Client Services Team will also handle all of the Post-Sale Support for your buyers. This option is great for those operations that want to experience the price lift of smaller account sales without having to service all of the buyers.
Funding of Purchases
The funding process is also handled by the CMAX NDSE Team. Debt buyers must fund their purchases as stated on the Account Purchase Agreement for their transaction within 24 hours of commitment. When funding is received via wire transfer from the debt buyer, only then will the accounts be available to the purchaser. The seller’s proceeds are then wired to the account specified on the Placement Order.
